Logo & identity redesign for RedBox Studio, a photographic studio in Athens, Greece.
The idea behind the symbol that we created for the Red Box Studio logo is based on the fact that what a photographic camera essentially does is to record an object, person, event, etc., which always is in a specific point in space and time. That answers the brief from the client, that wanted a elegant symbol that it’s easy to use.
Thus the result (the picture) is absolutely dependent to the position of the lens (the circle) in space (height, width, depth) but also in time. If the position of the camera changes, even a little, the result is a different picture. All stationary have a significant red stroke, either on or the side of the surface. We also came up with a pattern for the wrapping paper.
