Architecture studio Identity. In 2011 esé Studio Architects was born from a new collaboration Between Sotos Mallas and Aaron Ritenour. The partnership was a result of a long time friendship and wonderful results after many previous collaborations. The name of the office is based on the first letters of the founders names S+A = esé. They believe in two things, inspired design and happy customers.
We’ve decided to start from a pure and clear shape (oval) that represents the aesthetic values of their works. We multiplied three times so we can design each letter. Then each “oval” is drawn with three lines in order to represent the three main levels of work of an architect, research, design and construction. Then the letters are cut and the lines inside them are crossed.
